K-Earth 101 Southern California’s Number One Music Weekend
For a period of time in the late 20th century, K-Earth 101 presented “Southern California’s Number One Music Weekend”, also known as “Southern California’s Number Ones Of Rock And Roll”, over the Labor Day weekend starting at noon on Friday where they spun every number one record as listed in Southern California radio charts from 1955 through the present, and then did it all over again to fill the four-day weekend.
This is the list as I compiled it by listening to the program for several years in the mid-to-late 1980s.
I am not affiliated with K-Earth 101 in any way. I am just a long-time listener. This is for my fellow K-Earth 101 fans. Enjoy!
